How to struggle with web tick on currant and gooseberry
First of all it is necessary to select planting stock competently. All additives have to look healthy and clean.
In the early spring before blooming of kidneys the bushes of currant and gooseberry process solution of nitrafen. Then not later than 30 days before harvesting these bushes can be sprayed with carbophos or medicines with sulfur content. Only be vigilant and show consideration for means of personal protection: respirator, gloves, protective clothing.
As the web tick winters in top soil it is necessary to make late fall and in the early spring deep redigging and loosening of the earth under bushes. It will help to reduce the number of this wrecker several. It is regularly still obligatory to water bushes of currant and gooseberry in droughty time, and currant it is possible even more often.
Among folk remedies the most effective is spraying by infusion of bitter wormwood. The wormwood is picked and put in bucket, filled in with boiled water, covered with cover. Then in 2-3 days add a little soap or powder and process plants. This infusion is harmless and it can be applied, almost, before the maturing of berries (approximately no later than 10 days).
How to struggle with web tick on cucumbers in the open ground and in the greenhouse
During the spring period before landing the soil in the greenhouse is spilled dense solution of potassium permanganate and later couple of days carefully dug over.
It is very difficult to find web tick on cucumbers. Not because he the small sizes, and because of what lives on bottom side of leaves. With its detection you will be helped by emergence of white spots. It is better to be prepared and make garlic and nettle infusion in advance. Garlic is small crushed and filled in with boiled water. There add nettle. In five days it is possible to make processing of cucumbers, both in the greenhouse, and in the open ground. The web tick on cucumbers is very quickly restored therefore it is possible to use such infusion each two weeks. For cucumbers also bitter wormwood infusion is effective.
If folk remedies do not help and the threat of loss of all harvest remains, then it is better to pass to chemical medicines. Carbophos or the Spark BIOT is ideal for processing of cucumbers. But they should be applied only according to the instruction.
Besides various means for fight against web tick there are other insects who eat him. Attraction of such predators on the kitchen garden will allow to reduce quantity of this insect wrecker significantly. Such insect is the tick fitoseylyus. He eats eggs of web tick.
After harvesting remove all cucumber tops of vegetable from the kitchen garden and burn it. And then make deep scarification before the winter period – females of tick in hard frosts can die and will not disturb your kitchen garden the next year.
Observance of all these preventive measures will allow you to keep for a long time qualitative harvest of vegetable and berry cultures.
