1. If it is new building, then before the building is put in operation, the representative of fire service has to make service test. For this purpose submit the application to fire service then in in advance stipulated time for object the expert equipped with the equipment, necessary for carrying out test, will approach. The following units, as a rule, are included in the equipment package: hydraulic tool, cargoes, special load site and also fixing metering equipment.
2. Organize to the expert access to the checked ladder. For a start the representative of fire service will check correctness of placement of ladders. After that the given expert will make inspection of test emergency stairs regarding availability or lack of serious defects. He will pay attention to quality of corrosion-resistant coating, integrity of stair wells and also quality of welding. Further the expert will start measurement of elements of ladder design (these data are necessary for the subsequent comparison of the actual indicators to theoretical, definitions of deviations and possible loading).
3. Promote in test of elements of ladder design (this stage of check consists in test of maximum load which the emergency stairs is capable to take out).
4. By results of test of ladder technical reporting documentation which consists of the protocol of the carried-out inspections, list of deficiencies and the table with photoreports is formed.
