Preparatory work on installation of tape
The described illumination source usually fastens behind fillets (ceiling plinth), in stretch ceiling or in specially laid box from aluminum, plastic. At once define the place where there will be controller; ideally its arrangement needs to be thought over during mounting, for example, of false or stretch ceiling. In most cases the LED tape is on sale with already soldered wires, however if their length is not enough, then it is necessary to solder the wiring. Prepare surface on which you expect to fix tape; clean from dust, degrease solvent (acetone) and cover with layer of earth for the best adhesion. If you are going to fix tape on conducting surface, then it is necessary also to lay dielectric layer.
Mounting of LED tape
Just before fastening remove protective layer on tape and record it on the chosen place. If it is required, truncate tape, having scissored big in the marked places (they are specially intended for soldering). According to marking attach tape to the controller. Do not mix entrance (input), exit (output). Also at connection it is necessary to observe polarity, otherwise LEDs will fail. It is recommended to put minimum of mechanical influences to tape: especially you should not bend it excessively. Producers offer tapes in which LEDs of any one color or several are established at once; for example, three-colored products are popular.
