At long use of power drill sometimes there is need of replacement of her tightening boss. The signs indicating that it is time to change this knot is turning of drill, the complicated movement of toothed rim and bad lining of cams of the device. To establish new clamping mechanism, in the beginning it is necessary to turn off old that not always manages to be made without the corresponding skill and extras.
It is required to you
- - vice;
- - soft inserts for vice;
- - key for the boss;
- - wrench;
- - punch;
- - hammer.
Instruction
1. Take drill in the left hand, and the right hand open clutch as it is possible more widely. It is sometimes fixed by special spindle, but much more often the cartridge fastens the rod supplied with left-hand thread. Turn off screw rod by means of the screw-driver, rotating it clockwise.
2. If the rod does not give in at once, slightly tap head part of the screw the hammer and make effort in opposite direction (counterclockwise) in the beginning, and then in the former direction providing rod otvorachivaniye. Usually such reception helps to get moving forward fixture. When using the hammer you do not seek to make considerable efforts not to deform drill.
3. To prevent rotation of the boss at removal of spindle, hold it with the special key used for drill clip. Put drill on table or other plain surface, insert key into the corresponding opening of tightening knot and you stop it hand to prevent turning. Disconnect spindle.
4. In difficult cases clamp cartridge in bench screw, previously having inserted into them inserts from plastic or soft metal, for example, from copper. It will allow to protect product from damages. Having clamped head part of drill, surely hold with free hand the tool for the working handle.
5. Having turned off screw rod, take out it from the boss. Now clamp drill in vice again, and then, using special key, remove tightening the block from the place. Dismantling on it is complete.
6. After carrying out preventive maintenance (cleaning and lubricant) make assembly of the boss in the return sequence. Put on clamping mechanism spindle and firmly tighten it key. In conclusion insert holding screw on the place and twirl it, rotating counterclockwise.
