During car repairs or the motorcycle, household or garden appliances it is necessary to turn off set of fixing parts, various metal and other elements. Very often at the same time we face the broken screws which removal sometimes seems almost impossible. Actually, to turn off the broken screw not so difficult.
It is required to you
- - box wrench or cap head;
- - extension wrench;
- - sharp chisel;
- - straight line and crosstip screwdriver;
- - impact driver;
- - drill;
- - blowpipe.
Instruction
1. If you have faced problem of untwisting of the broken screw with the damaged edges, arm with box wrench or head. These tools have to help you. If the key or head are not put on the screw, try to knock quietly on the chosen tool with small hammer.
2. If there are no edges on the broken screw at all, try to turn off it small extension wrench. If at you nothing has turned out, use more difficult way. By means of sharp chisel make groove in "hat" of the broken screw. Then strike it several times at an angle, directing chisel towards untwisting. Having done it, you with ease will remove the nut which has frozen on to the screw. The screw should be cut off and drilled.
3. To turn off the small screw with direct or crosswise slits, take the suitable screw-driver, insert it into grooves and, striking its handle with the hammer, accurately turn out the broken screw.
4. You can turn off the broken screw and by means of impact driver. Strike with it edge of "hat" in the direction of untwisting until the screw does not get out.
5. Sometimes it is possible to turn off the broken screw only by means of drill. For this purpose insert into the tool the extractor (device for untwisting of the broken screws) suitable by the size and make in screw "cap" dead hole depth the 10-15th (depending on length of the broken screw). Then invert extractor in the boss of drill so that the taper tap-vvertysh was working part. Using the slowest turns of drill, start untwisting of the broken screw.
6. It is possible to turn off the broken screw by means of blowpipe. For this purpose heat either the screw, or part in which it is twisted. If you have heated part, start cooling of the screw. If you have heated the screw, cool part. As a result of the arisen difference of temperatures the broken screw has to give in to untwisting.
