Not all know that weeds which gardeners try to eradicate on the sites can bring benefit. At peregnivaniye of grass the excellent organic fertilizer which is not containing chemicals turns out. It is absolutely simple to prepare and use it.
The grass mown from lawn, the weeds which are pulled out from bed need to be laid densely in metal or plastic barrel which should be placed on the solar place. For fermentation process acceleration the grass needs to be poured dry urea (100 g) or to add fresh manure in small amount. After that the flank needs to fill with cold water, to close cover and to leave for 7-10 days for completion of process of fermentation.
Contents of barrel need to be mixed periodically that process of fermentation extended on green material evenly. Gradually from barrel specific, quite unpleasant smell which will serve as signal that fertilizer is prepared for use will begin to proceed. This feature of fertilizer needs to be considered when the batch of grass is put – the flank should have far away from vacation spots, verandah, the playground. Before application infusion from barrel needs to be dissolved with cold water in proportion 1:10, to water plants at the rate of 5-10 l on bush. However it is worth to remember that this nitrogen fertilizer therefore it is more reasonable to use it in the first half of summer for building of green material of plants, and in the fall such fertilizer can do harm.
The mowed grass can be used also for compost preparation. For this purpose in corner of the site it is necessary to dig trench of 0.5 m in depth and to gradually put it the pulled-out weeds, crude grass, food waste, fallen leaves. For acceleration of process of peregnivaniye it is possible to add 100-200 g of urea too, scattering it layer-by-layer, from above covering with earth. Urea can be replaced with fresh manure. The last layer of compost needs to be covered well with earth, bast mat, roofing material and to leave for maturing.
Readiness of such fertilizer comes in 1.5-2. It can be used for improvement of quality of the garden earth, scattering on beds before redigging. Well rerotting compost turns into humus – it can be applied to mulching of earth surface under bushes and plants. Use of organic chemistry in kitchen garden allows to increase considerably productivity, without doing any harm at consumption of the vegetables and fruit which are grown up with its help. When bevelling lawn the garden trimmer the grass is crushed very small that allows to use it after drying as the mulch for the same lawn feeding with its organic chemistry. It is also possible to collect well dried grass by kisteper, to stack in bags and to use as required for mulching of the soil under bushes and trees. Only it is worth to remember that the grass for this purpose is no good, acinaceous – in this case the gardener risks to receive on beds green carpet from the sprouted weeds.
