Polyurethane foam became popular material in construction, it has great adhesive properties. But if foam gets on clothes, it is not so simple to wash it. There are several ways to return to clothes original form.

- — aerosol cleaner;
- — napkins or sponge;
- — brush;
- — sharp knife;
- — liquid for varnish removal;
- — white spirit, gasoline or acetone;
- — needle;
- — cuticle scissors.
Instruction
1. There is special aerosol cleaner, both for fresh, and for the hardened foam. In case of hit of foam on clothes, you rather easily will be able to remove it. Apply cleaner on spot, sustain several minutes (read time of effect of cleaner on bottle). Then collect residues of foam by napkins or clean sponge. If there were parts of foam on fabric, then make this procedure anew. Deleting spot, try to wash away it accurately not to damage fabric.
2. If near at hand there was no special cleaner, it is possible to use other means. It, for example: white spirit, gasoline, acetone and even liquid for varnish removal. These are the means which were less sparing for fabric, than special cleaner, but they will allow to prolong life to the spoiled thing too.
3. The most careful effect on fabric will be had by liquid for varnish removal. With extra care apply White spirit, acetone and gasoline. Thanks to these means, foam, having dissolved, it will strive to be absorbed in fabric therefore you apply solvent in small quantities, for example by means of Q-tips.
4. Choosing solvent, pay attention to quality of fabric and penetration depth in it. If fabric dense (overalls, outerwear from dense fabric, fur products) is much easier to cope with spot, is normal in such cases, the product can be put in order. But differently the situation with delicate fabrics is. Many solvents can seriously damage fabric. But, if to work carefully, but it is confidently possible to achieve beneficial effect.
5. Do not smear fresh sticky spot at all, trying to remove it mechanically. Smearing foam, you risk to rub it in fabric, and it will be far more difficult to wash thing. Before drawing means for removal of spot, cut off carefully all magnificent volume of foam sharp knife. Moisten fabric in that place where foam has stuck, and wait half an hour. Prepare the solvent chosen by you.
6. You do not hurry to apply solvent directly on spot. Experiment for a start on less noticeable place to check resistance of fabric to this means. Rub on the small site of clothes solvent and make sure that it does not corrode paint and does not spoil the invoice of fabric. If everything is all right, start removal of spot. Moisten it with solvent and by means of brush remove foam. Estimate result and repeat the procedure if it is necessary. After processing by solvents wash off the cleaned place in soapsuds to wash away chemical compound. Make it as soon as possible as solvent continuously continues the pernicious action on fabric.
7. If on fabric there are drops of polyurethane foam, small by the size, then cut off them accurately knife or cuticle scissors. Loosen residues of foam with normal needle. Carefully cut off foam pieces scissors or remove with brush. If necessary use solvent.
