When boiling hard water on teapot inside there can be white limy raid in the people called scum sooner or later. Instruction
1. Take 1-2 bags of citric acid, pour out them in teapot with cold water and boil. Let's stand a little, after that drain water and rinse teapot. Pour in it clear water, once again boil and pour out it. Once in several weeks is recommended to carry out such cleaning at least. The amount of the used citric acid depends on quantity and thickness of scum.
2. Fill powder means of "Pemos" on clean sponge and properly rub those sites of teapot where the layer of scale is most thickened. If the sponge does not help, use knife, but do not touch iron parts at all. On the end of procedure rinse teapot with cold water. After that pour into it water and 100 ml of 9% vinegar, leave for about 10 minutes until the scum departs. Drain water with vinegar, rinse teapot and, the gulf in it clear water, boil. After use of vinegar the teapot is better to boil 2 times. This way is suitable for not electric kettles.
3. Use special means "Antiscale agent", it happens in the form of liquid or powder. Just mix it with water, fill in in teapot and boil. This means that other as soda ash which is often used for softening of hard water.
4. One more good means for disposal of scum in teapot is the lemon. Cut it on thin segments, lower them in teapot, add a little water and boil. It is better to make it several times until the scum completely descends. Between boiling surely let's teapot cool down, otherwise it can break.
5. It is possible to wash scum by means of peel of pears and apples. Place it in teapot, fill in with water and boil thoroughly. As a result the scum will disappear, and the teapot will gain initial color.
