The hyacinth can be grown up both on bed in garden, and in pot on windowsill. For love for moisture the hyacinth is called "flower of east rains" as this plant usually blossoms when on its homeland there are first spring rains.

Instruction

1. For the normal growth and blossoming it is necessary to provide to plant the correct watering. After the bulb of hyacinth is planted in flower soil, water it and powder from above with sand. Then carry pot to the cold greenhouse or the basement. Ideal air temperature for rooting of hyacinths is +4-6 degrees. As a rule, the plant begins to take root in 2-2.5 months after landing.

2. All this time you watch that soil in pot was humidified. Water plant if you notice that the top layer of soil has begun to dry up. Perhaps, it is necessary to do it not so often as the cool atmosphere with the increased humidity in which the hyacinth will take roots in itself promotes maintenance of due level of moisture in pot.

3. When the first sprouts reach 5 cm in length, transfer plant to the room with temperature condition not higher than +10-15 degrees. Before emergence of the first buds you keep hyacinth in the darkened place, or under cap from dense paper. Water plant regularly, on edge of pot. Do not use close meshed watering can. If by negligence water gets on bosoms of leaves or on bulb, the plant will die. It is better to water hyacinths with melt or rain water of room temperature.

4. After emergence of the first buds move pot in well lit room with temperature condition of +20 degrees. During this period it is important to pay special attention to watering. The earth in pot should not dry up. Water hyacinth very accurately as negligence can lead to the fact that the hyacinth will not blossom at all. If on bud water gets, it dries up and dies off, without having revealed.
