The small liana with the flexible hanging-down stalks - hoya Bella is distinguished from the rare and little-known beautifully blossoming houseplants with the grace and unpretentiousness. Its homeland - Java Island.

The plant represents well oblistvenny bush with numerous thin and soft branches of glaucous color. Leaves very small (2 - 3 cm), pale green, from bottom side whitish, dense and quite leathery, the oval sharpened form. Under favorable conditions hoya grows quickly and soon takes the ampelous form: each escape comes to an end with the hanging flower umbrella which

 consists of 6-8 original as if molded from wax, flowers of purely white color with pink crown in the center.

The plant blossoms in the summer though peduncles are formed also in the winter, but usually they fall down because of the shortage of lighting. Only in 1.5-2 months after formation of peduncles, drooping flowers open.

Strongly expanded hoy quite often bear up to 50-60 and more umbrellas with hundreds of fragrant flowers, with wonderful, unostentatious smell.

In room conditions hoya demands well lit place, but also it is impossible to put it under direct sunshine. At the same time the flower perfectly feels in dry room air and does not even need spraying. The plant has small and weak root system therefore it is necessary to grow up it in superficial (10-12 cm) pots, putting in them 2 stalks. The soil should not be heavy and dense, it is better to make it of the sheet earth, greenhouse humus and coarse-grained sand. It is possible to replace hoyyu two times a year.

Watering should be carried out by warm water and it is very moderate. The plant does not transfer stagnation of water, from it backs rot. At the bottom of pot surely there has to be drainage. However, it is impossible to allow also dryings of earth lump. In the summer, during active growth it is useful to feed up 1 every two weeks plant mineral fertilizer for window plants.
