The wireless electronic guards have number of advantages: - possibility of change of location of sensors; - availability of communication between sensors it is possible to determine by signal from the central block; - possibility of the choice of communication channels (radio, optics, cable) or their combination, duplication.
Average range of security sensors – 100 m, the average time of continuous work of batteries – half a year.
From shortcomings of wireless system the experts note need of payment of traffic, dependence of reliable data transmission on quality of GSM network, vulnerability in the presence of radio interferences. The main minus – high cost of both devices, and their installation, service.
