Thousands of owners of seasonal dachas on spring and after harvesting are forced to bear heavy burden of redigging of the soil in the fall. Then - cutting of ridges, crops of seeds or disembarkation of potato tubers. Many do not even guess that it is possible to avoid routine work every year. For this purpose it is necessary to decide and build several stationary organic ridges which will never be dug over.
It is required to you
- Old boards or beams. Length - without restrictions, width - not less than 25 cm.
- Cardboard and newspapers (old box, any waste paper, newspapers, magazines).
- Organic waste materials: branches of trees and bushes, budylya sunflower and corn, weeds dry and fresh (without seed boxes), mowed lawn grass, kitchen organic waste materials (tea tea leaves, vegetable cleanings, etc.)
- Manure (it is desirable, but it is optional).
- Garden earth.
- Grid metal or plastic from moles (if at the dacha there are moles).
- Preparat-bioudobreniye ""Baikal EM"" (not necessarily, but it is desirable).
Instruction
1. If you have on the site many organic waste materials, then you can make several ridges if a little - begin with one organic bed and make sure of its efficiency. So, we will start. We knock together from boards design in the form of rectangle with parameters: width - not less than 80 media no more than 1 meter, height - not less than 20 cm, length any. We fix ridge by metal corners or dowels in soil. We have box from the North on the South for uniform lighting during the day.
2. If there are moles, on bottom of box stack grid, we fix it to boards. We stack cardboard, multilayered newspapers and magazines on bottom. The purpose is not to allow to sprout to rhizomes of weeds. Over time paper will rot through, having executed the function. We fill up cardboard from above with thin layer of the sand providing drainage and breath of roots.
3. We spread layer of large organic drainage over sand: branches, stalks of corn and sunflower, cane, large stem weeds without seeds. The purpose is to provide access of air to the rotting-through organic chemistry and roots. From above we spread layer of small organic chemistry: straw, mowed lawn grass, chopped weeds (it is possible to mow down outside the site), kitchen waste (except meat and fish, - attract rats and mice).
4. Mixed up with vegetable organic chemistry, manure is added to box (if is). We fill layer of the garden earth from the site, 10 cm high. We spill the turned out organic ""puff pie"" solution of the medicine ""Baikal EM"". The purpose is to accelerate decomposition of organic chemistry and planting of seeds or seedling of plants on bed. If there is no Baikal, use infusion of weeds. How to do: to chop nettle, dandelions and horsetail, to fill half of barrel, to fill in with water to top, to wait week until begins to ferment. To use for gas station of organic ridge and further for watering of plants as valuable fertilizer (it is obligatory to dilute with water in the ratio 1:5, 1:10)
5. We cover box with polyethylene for few weeks for peregnivaniye and warming up of the soil. We keep soil in damp state. When the earth has a little sunk, we add new soil and we sow seeds, we plant seedling. During the season the soil under crops has to be zamulchirovana, i.e. is covered with organic chemistry or newspapers, cardboard, it is possible for that and another at once. Purpose: not to allow to sprout to weeds, and to the soil to dry up. During the summer it is necessary to enclose many times layers as they quickly ""leave"", they are eaten by microorganisms, nasekoiy, worms, enriching the soil with organic chemistry. The number of waterings decreases twice with use of layer of mulch.
6. In the fall of bed do not dig over. In September sow under winter of siderata or fill up box with organic chemistry that the soil did not slezhatsya under snow. On spring of bed do not dig, and do superficial loosening by chopper (not deeper than 3-5 cm). After that make seeding of seeds. Potatoes are planted in superficial (5 cm) by holes and fill up from above 20 cm with organic chemistry layer (straw, weeds, kitchen waste).
