Characteristics of minvata and "Penoplex"
Mineral wool – fibrous material which is released in rigid and semifixed mats and rolls. This heat insulator is received by method of melting of magmatic rocks. Plates of this heat insulator are easy on weight that provides simplicity and speed of mounting. As a part of material there are no hazardous substances therefore it is safe in terms of ecology. If when mounting minvata personal protection equipment as small fibers and dust are emitted are necessary, when using "Penoplex" of it it is not required.
That it is better: minvat or "Penoplex"?
If it is required to warm the base, there is no alternative to polyfoam. Mineral wool will not be suitable for these purposes. In other cases these heat insulators are almost equivalent. But mounting of minvata more labor-consuming and expensive. "Penoplex" wins not only in the speed and ease of mounting, but also on some other the reasons: it does not absorb moisture, does not demand powerful framework and waterproofing, it can be pasted to wall or to fix on it by plastic dowels. "Penoplex" can be used for warming of communications, blind area, road surfacings. If in the choice of heater is not only warm decisive factor, but also sound insulation, is better recommended to use minvata.
