Temperature

Air humidity
As well as other orchids, phalaenopsis it is very sensitive to air humidity, it has to be high. Leaves spray once a day, but on them there should not be drops. Mix has to be slightly damp, but not wet, especially it is necessary to watch closely it during the winter period. At fall of temperature the probability of rotting of roots is high. Watering phalaenopsis it is necessary to watch that water did not get on growth point in the socket basis. Water needs to be poured carefully, on edge of pot. It is the best of all to use method of immersion of pot in the container with water, then moisture will get on substrate through openings at the bottom. When roots of phalaenopsis sprout in opening in pot or are formed over the soil, it does not mean that the plant needs change. The top roots slightly cover with substrate therefore when landing it is necessary to provide free space in upper part of pot, the soil should not fill it up to the top.
