Partitions - what they are

Partitions are used for division of the placement on different zones. If it is about premises, then it can be, for example, division into public and personal zone. And if to speak about rooms office, then by means of partitions it is possible to transform one big area to set of offices or separate jobs quickly.

Instruction

1. On the classification the partitions can be separated into two main types – stationary and mobile. Wall designs which are subdivided into bearing and interroom belong to stationary. When planning partition it is necessary to define for a start its assignment and expected loading.

2. Load bearing wall. Serves in order that be support for panels of overlapping, beams and other elements which make building "skeleton". In view of the fact that such partitions bear rather serious loading, they are made brick, various gazo- and foam-concrete blocks, slag stones and concrete panels. Recently the technology when trussed partitions are filled in with concrete in special timbering directly at construction of constructions is very developed. Very often, besides resistance to static load, partitions have to have thermoprotective properties as can separate the heated room from not heated. Trussed partitions can be used for attaching on them enough heavy home decoration without risk of violation of design.

3. Interroom partition. Serves as wall which not just separates the room, but serves zvuko- and thermal insulation. It can be made of the facilitated foam concrete, gipsoblok, plasterboard plates. If there is problem of providing svetoprovodnost, then at creation of partition glass blocks which not only pass light are used, but also have decorative properties.

4. Partitions from plasterboard plates have very much become widespread. The manufacturing techniques allow to build partition as soon as possible practically without stucco work and it is easy to lay various communications in wall. For example, in stekloblochny partition it is impossible to lay communications. Lack of gypsum cardboard is its fragility, weak moisture-proofness and impossibility to establish heavy hinged elements on such walls. One of advantages – wall from gypsum cardboard can be dismantled very quickly, without using at the same time the heavy tool.

5. In office rooms, partitions from the glazed aluminum shape are often used. It allows to provide ease and transparency of design at rather quite good sound insulation.

6. Mobile partitions. As mobile partitions the screen is often used. It allows to change geometry and location of partition in only a few seconds. Here too there is big variety of the used material. It can be the screen made of the integral massif of wood or in combination with fabric, dense paper with the put drawing. The profile from the anodized aluminum in combination with laminated by chipboard is quite often applied.

7. Partitions from the aluminum shape are widespread in offices when the general working space is divided into sectors, but not in the form of separate offices.

8. As type of mobile partitions there are sliding partitions. Their feature is that they can be carried out also from the massif of wood, and from the aluminum shape with chipboard, but they fasten on the special system identical to the system of sliding doors.
