Growth of need for the construction materials intended, first of all, for design of rooms and having the corresponding mechanical characteristics, has led to creation of set of various materials of new generation, one of which are perforated panels. Ease of processing, sufficient durability and rather low price have caused their broad application for interior finish of rooms.
Perforated panels are most often manufactured of fiber boards of the high density (HDF) or gypsum cardboard. Usually thickness of the panel does not exceed 3-4 mm, however, some producers manufacture panels up to 6 mm thick. Thanks to such characteristics, the panel is easily processed and has sufficient durability, but use of tree as a part of panels limits possibility of their application out of rooms and also in the conditions of the increased humidity. Depending on price category, laminate, natural interline interval, foil can be applied on panels. Grinding or putting paint from one or both parties is possible.
The size and form of perforation in panels depend only on imagination of the producer and can have appearance of both simple rectangular or round openings, and cuts of irregular figured shape. There are also plastic and metal perforated panels which are usually painted or cover with film.
