The cucumber belongs to family of pumpkin. This annual plant which all grades are subdivided on maturing terms: early, sredneranny, mid-season, late-ripening. This plant requires to itself a lot of attention and one of indispensable conditions of its productivity is fertilizing by mineral and organic fertilizers.
Features of application of fertilizers to the soil for cucumbers
Cucumbers will well grow and will yield big harvest only under condition if the soil is fertile. And it is better to imprison them for the next year after mineral, and especially organic fertilizers have been brought in the soil. As organic fertilizer it is necessary to use manure, humus they do not love and can cease to grow and will dry up at once after the first fruits and any ripen, even the most careful leaving will not help them.

What fertilizers to use for cucumbers
It is necessary to fertilize cucumbers from the most tender age – when they in seedling. The cow or chicken manure divorced with water in the ratio 1:8 or 1:10 respectively is for this purpose used. Watering by manure is carried out in two weeks when shoots and the second time appear – for couple of days before you are going to plant seedling in soil. In this case on 10 l of solution it is possible to add 15 g of ammonium nitrate, as much sulfate potassium and 20 g of superphosphate. Introduce such fertilizer at the rate of 1 glass on 2 plants.
To prolong the fructification period, cucumbers periodically it is necessary to feed up, bringing superphosphate or potash saltpeter before it is going to rain or before you them were going to water cucumbers.
Mineral fertilizers, without organic chemistry, can be used only on very fertile soils. One of the basic elements providing the accelerated fructification is phosphorus. It is brought in two layers, in base layer – in the form of the powder superphosphate mixed with organic chemistry, and in top – directly in beds along with crops of seeds in the form of granules, at the rate of 5 g on 1 square meter. For acceleration of fructification and increase in productivity on sandy soils it is necessary to introduce magnesian fertilizers.
