Annually to reap good harvest of strawberry, it is necessary or to replace each two years plants to the new place, or in due time to feed up them. As fertilizing of this culture it is better to use organic fertilizers.
Strawberry – favourite garden berry of many children and adults and that the plant yielded good seasonal harvest, it is necessary to look after him correctly. Strawberry is culture, rather exacting to leaving: large and numerous berries appear when there is weeding, loosening and removal of the died-off parts. - the rerotting cow manure;
- bird's dung;
- ashes;
These fertilizers are introduced in April-May, they provide plants with all necessary nutrients that positively affects productivity and resistance of bushes of strawberry to external wreckers.
The rerotting cow manure
Dung water – 1 l; water - 10 l.
It is necessary to dilute 1 l of dung water with 10 pure liters and to leave for 5-7 days in the corked barrel. Further it is necessary to process bed with strawberry. It is important not to touch vegetative parts of plant as this solution is capable to burn gentle leaves and stalks of strawberry.
Bird's dung
Dry bird's dung – 1 kg, clear water – 15 l.
It is necessary to dilute with water bird's dung, and as well as in the first case, to allow to stand mixes some time. In 2-4 days it is necessary to mix mix and to spill the earth of strawberry beds.
Ashes
Ashes, as a rule, are used in fertilizing together with manure or dung, but also its independent use is possible. To feed up strawberry, it is necessary to take ashes counting upon 1 square meter of strawberry bed of 350 g of ashes, and 10 liters of water. Ashes mix up with water, mix spills under bushes. Whenever possible, the best option will be to spill each bush of strawberry of 0.3-0.5 l of water with ashes.
Humus
Humus can be brought in the spring by mixing it with small amount of the earth. Such dry mix has to be around strawberry bushes, without touching vegetative parts of plant. The best time for introduction of organic fertilizing for strawberry is the end of April, at this particular time strawberry needs large number of mineral substances for formation of healthy vegetative weight and forming of large numerous fruits.
