From that, the timbering is how correctly collected, durability of the base and its durability depends. Therefore to mounting of this design it is worth treating with due consideration.
The most widespread material for arrangement of timbering under the base – tree that is caused by availability of sawn timber and its rather low cost. To construct qualitative design, edging boards from 30 mm thick (if width of the base does not exceed 40 cm, then boards thickness and in 20-25 mm will approach), bars 40х40 or 40х50 mm, nails or self-tapping screws will be necessary.
Mounting of timbering of continuous footing
At first it is necessary to build from boards on all their length the peculiar extended boards; for this purpose connect sawn timber bars so that the last stuck out down on 30-40 cm. From below sharpen bars – they will play at the same time role of pegs. On height the timbering has to correspond to the planned base height.
Examine places of contact of boards - if the size of slots exceeds 3 mm, then it is necessary to use tow that solution was not squeezed out outside. It is possible to leave three-millimetric slots since during filling the sawn timber will inflate. At timbering exit above the ground more than on 20 cm, it is necessary to use additional emphasis (bars) which has to rest one end against timbering walls, another – to the earth.
Timbering for the column base
For arrangement of the column base most often use already ready columns from reinforced concrete. However if it is not possible to find the necessary support, it is possible to make them independently. For this purpose it is necessary to make timbering under filling of foundation columns of square section. From boards not less than 25-30 mm thick collect 2 couples of boards which length corresponds to height of foundation columns. From outer end of board are fastened with shorter pieces by means of self-tapping screws or nails. Further it is necessary to connect boards nails or self-tapping screws so that the box has turned out. Lower the last in in advance dug out hole (depth has to be lower than the level of freezing). The part acting above the ground needs to be strengthened in addition struts from each party. As struts it is possible to use the same boards which one end need to be beaten to box, another – to set against the earth. At the same time it is necessary to observe vertical by means of the construction level, plumb. If nevertheless it was necessary to use thin boards (thickness less than 25 mm), then external part of box it is necessary to tie in addition with suitable collars from, for example, metal levels, bolted, nuts.
