If to plant tomatoes and greens in one capacious pot, it is possible to receive not only beautiful composition, but also mini-bed with ready ingredients for tasty and useful salad.
It is required to you
- - flowerpot with outlet (diameter about 40 cm)
- - the fertilized soil or compost
- - quite coarse pebbles or gravel
- - srednerosly or sectional hybrid of tomato
- - sheet parsley
- - medicinal sage
- - basil
- - ordinary marjoram
- - nasturtium (4 plants)
Instruction
1. On bottom of pot place layer of pebble or gravel about 5 cm high. From above put the soil for vegetable cultures or compost. Leave 2-3 cm to edge of pot to provide the place for watering. In the central part of pot place tomato.
2. On the one side of pot land parsley. It has to be at distance not less than 10-15 cm from tomato. From the side, opposite to parsley, accurately not to damage seedling, land basil. Condense the earth.
3. From two remained parties plant marjoram and sage. Remember that from edge of ware to seedling there has to be some distance. Fill free space with nasturtium so that around tomato there was free space. It is abundant water.
4. Do not forget that the support is necessary for sectional and srednerosly hybrids of tomatoes. It is done before tomatoes have begun to fructify, it is better directly after landing or change of plant – so risk to damage root system least of all. As support it is possible to use the bamboo or wooden pegs fitted by tape or soft cord. It is possible to get ready support in shops of garden stock.
5. Each 2 weeks it is necessary to feed up tomatoes special fertilizers, and during frosts to close paper or plastic protective cap. Such mini-bed will feel best of all on the solar place protected from drafts.
