Valves can be pig-iron, rubber, bronze or brass. Bronze and brass will serve longer, than rubber. Piston rings of manual pumps do of leather and cast iron and also rubber. The strongest option — pig-iron ring, but it is much more expensive rubber therefore when choosing specific model it is necessary to proceed from the budget.
