- the reinforced profile – 1 piece; - sheet of gypsum cardboard 12 millimeters thick; - rack-mount profile – 1 piece; - perforator or drill; - the directing profiles – 4 pieces; - tape measure; - hammer; - fret saw; - grid-serpyanka; - screw driver; - scissors on metal; - dowel and screws.
For a start it is necessary to measure width of the most door opening and height of arch arch. It is necessary to make framework of door arch of metal section. For this purpose bend tape of metal by the corresponding sizes and beat dowels to wall. The same framework needs to be attached also from the opposite side of door opening. On the sheet of gypsum cardboard draw with pencil contour of curved arch and cut it by means of the electrofret saw with special cloth. It is necessary to do it very accurately as this material very brittle. Apply the cut part to the second sheet of gypsum cardboard and make its faithful reproduction. Attach both ready parts to framework by means of self-tapping screws. But it should be taken into account that the head of screws should not act over the leaf plane, and to be slightly drowned in it. Then bend profile and fasten self-tapping screws to two edges of gypsum cardboard. Measure width and length of aperture on radius, and by the received sizes cut out strip from gypsum cardboard. In case the radius of arch very big, then strip it is possible to bend in the dry way and if radius small, then is better to try to apply wet way of bending of gypsum cardboard. For this purpose roll the made strip the special needle roller then humidify it on the one hand. Carefully curve leaf so that it has accepted curvature necessary for you. Then attach curved strip self-tapping screws to arch.
After have established arch, it is necessary to start its finishing. For this purpose the arch needs to be progruntovat and applied on it small layer of putty, previously having pasted over all visible joints and corners with plaster grid-serpyankoy. It should be taken into account that the surface on which you have applied putty layer has to be plain and, especially, should not act over the general level of arch and wall. Further after the processed surface will dry up, it is necessary to grind carefully it abrasive paper.
