Mustard salad is annual, early, cold-resistant plant. It has received the name for poorly sharp smack of leaves reminding taste of table mustard. In salad mustard there is a lot of potassium, vitamin C, pro-vitamin A and also salt of calcium, phosphorus and iron. All types of salad mustard early (from crops before cleaning there pass 20-30 days). It can be sowed during any period.

1. The soil under crops of salad mustard is prepared since fall: dig over, closing up in it compost, superphosphate, chloride potassium. Before crops in the spring the site on heavy soils is dug over, on lungs - loosened. Crops need to be conducted every 10-12 days to the middle of August. It is necessary to sow ranks with row-spacings 25-30 cm. Mustard is thinned out, leaving gleam to 5 cm among, then up to 10 cm.
2. After thinning of plant feed up nitrogen fertilizers and solution of mullein, chicken dung. Cleaning of plants is made with height of 10-15 cm. If you seed mustard in the fall, then it will serve as good means from the wireworm which does harm to potato.
3. Mustard salad is grown up also in house conditions, sowing in superficial boxes with light soil mix. In 10-12 days the leaves are ready for use. Mustard is popular not only flavoring and useful qualities, but also as fertilizer for the soil. It enriches the soil with organic matters, phosphorus and sulfur and also disinfects it.
