Mustard salad is annual, early, cold-resistant plant. It has received the name for poorly sharp smack of leaves reminding taste of table mustard. 1. The soil under crops of salad mustard is prepared since fall: dig over, closing up in it compost, superphosphate, chloride potassium. 3. Mustard salad is grown up also in house conditions, sowing in superficial boxes with light soil mix. In 10-12 days the leaves are ready for use. Mustard is popular not only flavoring and useful qualities, but also as fertilizer for the soil. It enriches the soil with organic matters, phosphorus and sulfur and also disinfects it.
