Concreting of columns for fence allows to increase design life cycle, to give it reliability and to protect from corrosion. There are several methods of concreting, each of which is accepted in specific conditions.
Full concreting
The first that needs to be made – to prepare surface. In that place where it is supposed to establish columns, remove roots of plants and cut off the turf. Sadovyi (and it is better more powerful earth) drill make in soil opening which depth has to be lower than freezing point (approximately – 1.5 m). Mark site and designate installation sites of columns. If there is opportunity to use welding, then below (having receded centimeters 10) weld couple of short cross metal rods or strips; it will promote the best stability of column. Establish it in hole and by means of drag struts (wooden rails or boards) set against the earth achieve strictly vertical position, applying the construction level or plumb. It is possible to fill in pure solution by means of the old flattened bucket without bottom. The best option – filling of mix of crushed stone and cement. In this case at first it is necessary to mix all components and only then to fill in. Filling in solution, at the same time check vertical position of column and if necessary correct its situation.
Partial concreting
If it is going to put up easy fence, for example, from tree, grid of chain-link or professional flooring, then it is possible to carry out partial concreting. In this case mark the territory and hammer columns into the planned place by means of sledge hammer. If the soil very heavy, then it is previously possible to drill holes drill; at the same time their diameter has to be slightly less than diameter of columns. Further level them on plumb or level and fill in space around it with cement slurry. The similar way of concreting suits only for the area where the level of underground water is not too highly; otherwise in the spring you can expect the lop-sided columns and gate. If the soil well absorbs moisture (for example, sandy loam), and not heavy, then similar method quite we accept fence.
