During creation of beds, registration in flowers of front gardens and corners of rest it is possible to select plants not only bright coloring, but also with strong aroma to enjoy magnificence of flowers and their fragrance.
Aroma of spring
The first garden "fragrances" which are dismissed in the early spring are the hyacinth and muskar. This early-flowering bulbous, landed near the house, for several weeks will fill air with bewitching smell of spring, freshness and the wakening life. In combination with fragrant fruit-trees which blossoming falls just on this time these primroses will create amazing composition of smells.
After them narcissuses are dismissed. Narcissuses multiflowered differ in especially strong and resistant aroma. Almost in at one time with them elegant tulips reveal. Then gentle lilies of the valley begin to smell sweet as the hand bells. Will fill with fragrant smell not only garden, but also the house, the lilac put under window.
Fragrant summer
In the summer the honeysuckle blossoms. All species of this bush differ in fragrant blossoming, but especially strong and pleasant smell gives honeysuckle kaprifol. Therefore surely it is worth including this plant in collection of garden aromas. One more fragrant bush is the mock orange which many call jasmine. The aromatic composition will be continued by peonies and irises. From iris grades the strongest smell classical grades with simple not terry flowers possess. As for peonies, all of them have intensive aromas of various shade – from spicy to citrus note. But dairy and floral grades happen the most fragrant. At the end of June the petunia will blossom. Having planted it, you receive the wonderful romantic corner of garden filled with aroma throughout the day – the smell of petunias reveals under hot beams of the sun as much as possible and extends to long distance. In July still the set of plants will join parade of smells. Honey hop has the exciting aroma. The smell of sweet pea differs in thin and gentle freshness. Elegantly the graceful freesia smells. The resistant aroma is extended by motley marigold. Flower culture, a little widespread in our latitudes, – mirabilis (the night beauty) deserves special attention. Its flowers begin to reveal with approach of evening and all night long they give to garden very strong and pleasant aroma. In warm, windless evening the garden shrouds fragrant cloud, and the easy breeze carries smell far away from the site. Graceful roses hold final authority among "fragrances". Red and pink grades differ in especially typical aroma. In August, "queens" of flower bed – lily blossom. Smell of all grades of lilies intensive and specific. It is so strong that it is loved by not everyone. But if you like aroma of lilies, put the most strongly smelling – east and tubular.
Autumn bouquet
In the fall the gamma of aromas will be continued by fragrant tobacco and bee balm. And after them gladioluses phloxes and chrysanthemums will blossom. The bee balm smelling of mint will remind of the leaving summer. Phloxes the aroma charming sweet will present a little more heat. And chrysanthemums, with their bitterish smell the falls, to the frosts will decorate and improve garden.
