Construction of the new house inevitably presents the owner with choice of construction materials, plannings, finishing and structural components, systems warmly - and water supply. It is necessary to take care not only of the base and walls, but also of ceiling overlappings, the organization of attic-floor room.

1. Ceiling overlapping of residential building has to conform to the following requirements: - durability - overlapping has to maintain the set loadings at construction and further operation; - constructive rigidity - ceiling overlapping should not have deflections even at excess of allowable load for 25%;-compliance on zvuko- and thermal insulations to the parameters provided by SanPiNs; - ecological security and compliance to fire safety class.
2. In modern construction distinguish two basic types of ceiling overlappings: overlappings of frame type and overlapping of plate type. Usually joist ceiling is chosen master foremen at construction of owner-occupied dwellings in type of the fact that this type cannot bear heavy load and is applied, respectively, only in low construction.
3. For construction of overlappings generally wood beams are used, meet metal one less often - and two-T-shaped. Metal is applied where increased loads on ceiling are assumed, for example, at construction of small industrial facilities (two-level hangars, garages and so forth), for inhabited rooms nevertheless the tree, and is preferable to restoration of bearing capacity of beam from larch, pine, oak and so forth it is just necessary to stack more often. Bearing capacity of beams pays off according to the corresponding table.
4. Overlappings of plate type are used generally at construction of multifamily houses and industrial buildings and also at construction of cottages. Overlappings of this look despite certain difficulties when mounting (the special construction equipment is required) have set of advantages. It is possible to carry to such advantages: - durability; - vlago- and fire resistance; - ability to sustain considerable loadings.
5. Ceiling overlapping from plates – great option for multistorey housing, it does not demand additional treatment and alignment of ceiling or sex of the second and the subsequent floors.
