In most cases diseases of dragon tree are caused by the wrong leaving. Sometimes the plant suffers from infections and wreckers, it becomes especially vulnerable at rare watering and the increased dryness of air.

1. If have got brown coloring from dragon tree of edge of leaves, it lacks moisture or indoors cold drafts. About too low temperature the excessive softness of leaves also signals. Dry spots on plant speak about surplus of lighting, and yellowness - about dryness of air and lack of nutrients.
2. It is not necessary to worry because of subsidence of the lower leaves of dragon tree, it is the natural process accompanying growth of plant and lengthening of its trunk. The leaf begins to turn yellow with top, and then completely dries out. For maintaining decorative effect recommend to cut off dry sites.
3. The dragon tree can suffer from infectious diseases. When on its stalks and leaves dry light brown spots of rounded shape with the light middle are formed, it means that the plant is struck alternariozy.
4. Geterosporoz is followed by emergence on both sides of leaf of roundish light brown sites with dark red frame. They expand, further on them fungus disputes in the form of dark raid appear. In case of defeat alternariozy and geterosporozy it is necessary to apply fungicides — oksikhy, fundazol, the topaz and medicines containing copper.
5. The bacteriosis is shown in softening and rotting of tips of leaves or appearance of small ulcers of rounded shape on scapes and stalks. This disease most often develops at the raised soil moisture and air, lack of nutrients and low acidity of soil. Spraying by water leads to spread of disease. The struck plants are not subject to treatment, destroy them.
6. Because of too low air humidity the dragon tree becomes vulnerable for wreckers, the main danger is constituted by shchitovka, tripsa, web tick and plant louse. At defeat of tripsama the plant gets characteristic silvery shade. The plant louse damages the lower part of leaves and top of escapes. Against these insects apply spraying by insecticides, as a rule, use fitoverm, detsis and aktellik.
7. To get rid of shchitovka, the plant is processed soap sponge then apply aktellik. Mealy scales — the insects of white color covered with flour raid they delay growth of plant, exhausting from it juice. At defeat, characteristic velvet-like wax allocations are formed. Apply soap or spirit solution to fight against these wreckers then it is necessary to process dragon tree two times insecticide with interval of 1-2 weeks.
