Gooseberry and currant — very popular berry cultures among the Russian gardeners. And not for nothing! Yokhilina
The plant is considered one of the best kultivar which have united qualities of gooseberry and currant. Yokhilina gives about 10 kg of berries from bush, their average weight is 8-9 g, and the weight of separate copies reaches 12 g.
The bush of yokhilina has the impressive size. Its height is 2 m, and diameter of krone — 1.8 m. Bush are very sprawling and gives huge number of young growth which needs to be deleted periodically if not to do it, berries will become shallow.
The main advantage of yokhilina is that the plant is practically not attacked bundle by the tick and other wreckers characteristic of currant and gooseberry.
Krom
Kultivar of Krom has been received by the Swiss selectors. Krupky and thick escapes which diameter is about 2 cm (thanks to this quality the bushes do not need garter and support) are characteristic of it.
Berries of black color have pleasant taste. Besides they quite large, average weight is 7 g.
Rekst
Has very beautiful exterior kultivar rekst. This hybrid not only will present excellent harvest of tasty berries, but also will become decoration of the site. The main advantage of hybrid is that it can grow also on the solar place, and in shadow.
The bush has beautiful foliage of bright green shade and great black berries with small violet outflow. Juice of fruits saturated-red, with pleasant taste and aroma.
EMB
The English scientists were engaged in creation of hybrid of EMB. Kultivar has been received rather recently and is very perspective. Moderate growth, strong and strong escapes is characteristic of EMB. In height the bush reaches 1.5 m, and diameter of krone is about 2 m.
The main advantage of hybrid under the name EMB is that he is not surprised rust, mealy dew, it is not attacked by widespread wreckers, in particular web tick. Though at all pluses, there is also essential lack of hybrid. Kislovata berries on taste therefore it will be pleasant not to everyone.
