Types of beams of binding
Banding beams happen two types: wooden and reinforced concrete. As the first, as a rule, use bar of different section. Wood beams of binding are mainly used in low construction at construction of frame houses, from the rounded log and the glued and pro-thinned-out bar, foam concrete blocks, panel board.
How do use binding beams?
In low constructions the bar of large section (beam) is used for mounting of the lower and top bindings. It is stacked directly on the base, previously having laid on it waterproofing material (roofing material) and attract to concrete by means of metal pins. Beams of binding have to be located on all line of the base, including not load bearing walls. After laying the bar is connected among themselves to the help of metal brackets or corners.
But purpose of beams of binding not only in it: they are used for overlapping of door and window openings. In brick houses and concrete use not wooden, but reinforced concrete beams. They are designed to increase durability and stability of self-supported walls. Beams of binding establish in places of height difference at the device of interroom flights, during mounting of stair landings, entrance group, at construction of hatches and elevators, arch spans.
How do make concrete beams of binding?
For production of beams of binding use concrete of M200 or M350 brands with application of expanded aggregate, various additives and softeners. Thanks to it products find high frost resistance and durability therefore can be used in regions with any climate. Marking of beam of binding allows to learn about characteristics of specific product. If at it there is letter "H", it means that in the course of production of beam concrete with normal permeability was used. If there is letter "P", so permeability of concrete lowered. "With" will report that material seysmoustoychiv. "M" will prompt that it is frost-resistant. Standard reinforced concrete beams of binding are made 6 m long. Section at these products can be miscellaneous. The requirements are imposed to warehousing and storage of these products: height of stack should not exceed 3 m; for storage and transportation of beam stack on wood decks not less than 8 mm thick. Transportation of these concrete products is made by special large-size machines, is accurate also with reliable fixing of each beam of binding.
