What is the heating on duty

Payments for the communal flat quite often eat considerable share of the budget, however many have already learned to save, for example, on heating. One of ways of decrease in payment for heat – installation of heating on duty.

Heating on duty is heating of rooms with use of the varying thermal duty of the building in time off of day or in weekend and holidays. So, it is obvious that to maintain temperature, comfortable for the person, in 23-25 degrees it does not make any sense when in nobody is not present. It means that during breaks in operation of rooms or in case under the terms of production technique, operation of communications, devices and the equipment is required to maintain air temperature just above zero degrees Celsius, it is possible to pass to ("cold") heating on duty.

Heating on duty by fall of temperature of air in process buildings up to 5 wasps and to 10-12os is carried out — in public civil buildings.

Supplementary heating is carried out due to incomplete use of the central heating services or with use of some heat units which turn on only in time off. There is it by means of switching from the incoming ventilation systems to the recirculation mode (reusable use of the same volume of air in the closed system of airproviding). Recirculation is the cheapest way of heating on duty. Nevertheless the similar way of heating is not always admissible because of presence at the atmosphere of dust, toxic components and flammable or explosive substances.

Thermal power of auxiliary heating is established according to heat waste by rooms.

If the calculated temperature of external air in any certain region does not fall below -5 °C in the winter, then heating of buildings on duty, as a rule, is not provided at all.

Choosing way of heating and its scheme, it is important to take into account that in different categories of rooms there can be various schedule of their operation, different levels and combinations of factors which define availability of excess heats. In the same building there can be also rooms in which it is rational to support unequal temperature conditions. The principles of zoning (division of the territory into zones) are applied to optimum use of heating on duty at design of its scheme. Distinguish zoning on categories of rooms, certain rooms, on facade of buildings and on the areas of work area.

From time to time in buildings of industrial function apply steam heating. Such heating services especially is suitable for heating on duty. It has opportunity to heat constructions with any number of storeys and is capable to warm quickly enough rooms, keeps steadily high temperature of heating devices. Minus such heating - inability of regulation of expenses of steam.
