What it is necessary to add to the soil, sowing tomatoes on seedling

Productive variety, qualitative seeds - that is not all to grow up strong seedling. The soil, its structure giving power supply and health to seedling - important part of cultivation of future harvest.

Most of gardeners use for cultivation of tomato seedling ready soil soil from shop on the basis of peat. They are friable, and at them there are fertilizers and the deoxidating materials as producers assure gardeners. In practice, many such "ready" soils can bring. Therefore before carrying out sowing of seeds, it is better to make secure and to add several important components without which seedlings of tomatoes cannot do.

The first component is phosphorus. At early stages of development if seedlings suffer shortage of phosphorus, their leaves from rear side get violet coloring. Phosphoric starvation affects growth of seedling, forming of root system, and in general – future harvest. On bucket of soil mix it is necessary to add 1 tablespoon of superphosphate.

The second component is deoxidants of the soil. Adult tomato plants can grow on srednekisly soils. And here tomato seedlings very sensitive to the increased acidity of soil. Even the small acidity of soil mix is dangerous to shoots. Sour soil and soil pathogen ""black leg"" here. Under adverse conditions: dense dense crops, the rehumidified soil, there is not enough light, high temperatures at house cultivation and the flash of ""black leg"" will visit seedling.

Dolomite powder (limy), wood ashes is necessary as a part of soil mix at early stage of cultivation of seedling of tomatoes. Add on soil bucket 1 tablespoon of dolomite powder or ashes.

Council. The soil for cultivation of seedling should be prepared about day of crops in advance, in 5-10 days that all added components were distributed and the soil ""has ripened"".
