Plasterboard partitions consist of two basic constructional elements – framework from metalprofile and its covering. There are two types of profile which can be used for this purpose.
Instruction
1. Partitions from gypsum cardboard help to differentiate space and can be room decor element. Irrespective of height, thickness and availability of figured ledges or dredging, the main role in stability and durability of designs is played by framework. Its mounting has to be made according to certain rules which define the choice of metalprofile and ways of its fixing.
2. The profile of any kind and the constructional decision represents the lengthy metal cloth made by method of cold rolling of galvanized tape. For production of these products use the profilegibochny equipment. The framework of plasterboard partitions is mounted from products which have the standard length of 2.8 m, 3.05 m and 4 m. In rare instances use 6-meter profile.
3. In the course of work two types of metalprofile are required: directing and rack-mount. The first is designated by marking of "PS". It represents the p-shaped cloth consisting of one back and two shelves at which are present, the located one over another, three superficial grooves. Each of them has the purpose: central represents the recommended place of joint of cloths of gypsum cardboard, side facilitate screwing of self-tapping screws.
4. Regiments are bent in relation to back at an angle 90 ⁰. In turn, regions of shelves are turned in the same way in profile. It does work with this material of safer as the possibility of cut about keen upper cuts of metal is excluded. The rack-mount metalprofile happens two types: PS 50/50 and PS 100/50. These products differ in back width. Side shelves remain identical – 50 mm wide.
5. The second type of metalprofile which is required for mounting of partitions from gypsum cardboard – directing. Its marking - "PN". As well as rack-mount, it has the p-shaped form, but the sizes his others. One more distinctive characteristic "направляек" - regions of shelves at them are not bent inside, but processed so that to prevent possibility of cuts.
6. Width of shelves of this type of metalprofile is invariable and is 40 mm. And width of back can be and 50 mm and 100 mm. It is necessary to choose that which corresponds to width of back of the rack-mount metalprofile used in mounting of partition. In the directing profile there is number of openings with a section of 8 mm which are intended for its fixing to structural floors. Fastening is made by means of dowels.
