Process of drawing bulk covering can be separated into three main stages. At first surface preparation under covering is required. For this purpose it is necessary to ground and putty hollow places, cracks and hollows, to level and grind the basis. Bulk floor is made of epoxy, polyurethane and methylmethacrylate polymers. The last are used less often owing to the high cost.
Drawing basic layer goes the second stage. Polyurethane cocktail pours out on surface and is distributed on all area by means of the aeration roller. Thickness of the main layer can fluctuate from one and a half to seven millimeters. "Chips" – thin polymeric plates are at once put. They are necessary for creation of pattern and masking of roughnesses. In end bulk floor becomes covered by transparent polyurethane lacquer.
The finishing decorative layer is put by the same principle at most in two days after drawing basic. For creation of glossy effect and improvement of properties of floor, the last layer becomes covered with polyurethane varnish.
Covering merits and demerits
Among advantages of bulk floor exclusively long life cycle is on the first place. These floors are capable to serve up to forty years. Also they are resistant to moisture and chemical influences. Bulk floors are perfectly linked to the basis, without gaps and seams. They are very esthetic because the varnish coat guarantees integrity of color and gloss of covering. One more plus – the gigiyenichnost is also simple in leaving, it is possible to do normal water with soap, without addition of the special washing structures. Bulk floor is considered non-toxic and fireproof covering because it is made of flame-resistant materials. All procedure on production of bulk floor in house conditions will take about seven days.
Bulk floors have the minuses. The procedure of preparation of the basis very labor-consuming also demands care and scrupulousness. It is necessary to control the level of humidity of the basis strictly. If necessary it will be very difficult to remove bulk floor from the basis. To shortcomings it is possible to refer sensitivity to ultraviolet and certain limitation in design.
