There are several ways to heat country house. To the middle of the last century as the heat carrier quite often used steam, now steam heating can be met only in production facilities and at the enterprises, its application in premises is forbidden by construction standards.
Steam heating
In the system of steam heating the boiler is used, it heats water to boiling temperature therefore the water vapor appears. At first it collects, and then is distributed on pipes and radiators, after that is condensed and goes to boiler in the form of water.
This cycle is repeatedly repeated. That steam forced out air, the special airwater pipe is applied. In the same way there is its removal in the system of hot-water heating.
For return of condensate to water-heating boiler there are two methods. In the first case create the special tank in which water which then is pumped over collects. The second mechanism means availability of large diameter pipe, on it condensate itself is returned to boiler. It is possible to carry fast warming up of system, almost total absence of losses of heat and possibility of application of pipes to advantages of steam heating with smaller diameter in comparison with those that are used in hot-water heating. At the same time the probability of receiving burn at accidental contact of skin with heated elements is high and rather small durability of system.
Hot-water heating
Very often hot-water heating of residential units in life is incorrectly called "steam". In such system heat is transferred on pipes by water which the boiler heats to 80-90os. It circulates and transmits heat through metal radiators to surrounding air. In one-storey buildings the distributing one-pipe system, however, can be used if in the building two floors more, for uniform warming up of all rooms it is necessary two-pipe as the heat carrier arrives from top to down. The boiler is placed in the non-residential premise within the house if electric or gas heating is provided. To install the zhidkotoplivy or solid propellant boiler, the small boiler house executed in the form of extension or the separate building is required. The heat carrier can circulate in the natural way or forcibly. In the first case the system is capable to work independently, in the absence of the electric power. Its only shortcoming — high thermal lag effect owing to what batteries slowly heat up after start of system. Compulsory circulation is provided by means of the pump which is built in the pipeline. On warming up of all the room leaves less time, than in the first case, but interruptions in power supply will influence work of hot-water heating.
