Clay soils on the site are familiar to many summer residents. That such soil became friable and fruitful, it is necessary to put a lot of effort and time. But there is a wish to see beauty of the yard already now, but not in a couple of years. What can be put on heavy clay soils to please itself and guests?

Instruction

1. Trees. On clay soil any trees grow. They have powerful root system therefore they easily sprout through dense layers of the earth, get at depth moisture and nutrients. On the site it is possible to put as normal trees (birch, fir-tree, cedar, juniper), and fruit (guelder-rose, rowan, bird cherry, apple-tree, cherry). Choose for trees such places on the site where they will not disturb and in the future will not be cut.

2. Bushes. Any fruitful bushes (currant, raspberry, blackberry) will perfectly take root on clay. But if the summer is droughty, then they will fructify less. That to prevent it, the soil under bushes needs to be loosened and watered often. And it is even better if to fill up the place under bushes with compost and sand. Sand will help water to get when watering to roots, and compost will give to plant the necessary power supply.

On clay it is possible to plant even all favourite roses. But for them it is necessary to improve a little clay soil – to add sand and peat. For whimsical flowers it is better to make high flower beds. For this purpose buy a little chernozem, make compost. Mix them, and build beds, having planted in them flowers. It is so possible to grow up lilies, irises, tulips.
