Strawberry – one of the earliest berries which grow ripe to midland and in the south of Russia. It contains large amount of vitamin C, bioflavonoids and phenolic connections and also microelements potassium, magnesium and zinc. Strawberry cleans and strengthens walls of blood vessels and perfectly heals many skin diseases at external application.
It is required to you
- - strawberry seedling;
- - humus or compost;
- - superphosphate;
- - sulfate potassium or ashes;
- - water for watering.
Instruction
1. It is better to plant strawberry seedling where earlier peas, haricot, radish, garden greens – parsley, fennel, salad grew … It is impossible to alternate this berry to tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, sunflower, girasol. Raspberry as at these plants the general wreckers will be bad neighbor for strawberry.
2. It is better to put strawberry plantation in April or in August when the heat has come to an end. However it is not necessary to delay with landing too, otherwise strawberry will not manage to get stronger and take roots prior to the beginning of frosts. It is better to replace seedling with earth lump on roots, and to transfer to long distance in wide bucket or basket. If plants long were out of the earth, it is possible to lower roots in water or the manure and clay talker for two hours.
3. The plantation cannot be placed in strongly shaded or marshy place. Before landing the soil should be fertilized: on 1 sq.m 5-6 kg of humus or compost, 50 g of superphosphate, 30 g of sulfate potassium or, as replacement, 60 g of wood ashes. Then it is abundant water each hole under seedling. The distance between bushes of strawberry has to be not less than 25-30 cm. When landing you watch that the heart was at ground level, otherwise it can decay, and the plant will die.
4. After landing water plantation and well to zamulchiruyta the soil again. As mulch it is possible to use peat, humus, black film or pod. If there is very hot weather, over seedling it is possible to arrange canopies from newspapers to protect from solar burns and drying of the soil.
5. Mustache weaken bushes and reduce productivity therefore regularly pinch off them, except for those which have decided to leave for new seedling. For receiving good planting stock it is better to leave no more than two very first mustache from each bush. After gathering berries the soil needs to be fertilized mix of superphosphate and sulfate potassium from calculation for 25 g of each component on sq.m. Instead of potassium it is possible to use wood ashes – 50 g on sq.m.
