2. Important factor which needs to be considered at crops of seeds is the term of maturing of fruits. There are early ripening, mid-season and late varieties and hybrids of tomatoes. To receive earlier harvest, seed early ripening varieties of tomatoes, at the same time it is necessary to make it a little earlier, than other grades of tomatoes.
3. Optimum age of seedling for disembarkation in soil of 60-65 days. During this time plants have to increase sufficient green material, the stalk to become strong.
4. At cultivation of tomatoes in the protected soil, seedling can begin to be planted to greenhouses at the beginning of May provided that the soil has enough got warm.
5. In 2 weeks prior to landing soil in the greenhouse needs to be prepared. Dig up the soil and bring in it humus, urea, superphosphate, chloride potassium.
6. Dig out holes, water them. Take out seedling of tomatoes from pots in which it was grown up. Tear off the lower leaves and arrange plant in hole and fill up with the soil. If seedling was too extended, plant it under inclination, leaving 3-4 leaves on surface.
7. In May there are night frosts. And weather often is in the afternoon cool. To save tomatoes in the greenhouse cover them with layer of nonwoven fabric. He can be moved away at the end of May — the beginning of June when warm weather is established.
8. At cultivation of tomatoes in the open ground, they are planted in the first decade of June. Landing is made in cloudy day in morning or evening hours in the similar way, as well as to the greenhouse.
9. Happens so that seedling of tomatoes lacks light and nutrients. It begins to be extended. To plants it becomes close on windowsill. In this case it is possible to make nursery. For this purpose the framework is made of bars which is fitted by film.
10. In nursery tomatoes can be landed in the middle of May. At possible frosts it should be covered with rags, old oriental carpets, paths and so on, that is all what will be near at hand. To the open ground of plant from nursery it is necessary to land in the first decade of June.
