Representatives of family of nightshade family, pepper and eggplants, slowly develop, have the long vegetative period, exacting to heat. In the majority of Russian regions they are grown up seedling. For receiving good harvest it is important to plant eggplants and pepper on seedling in time.
Eggplants – the most whimsical of family of nightshade family therefore great demands are placed on their cultivation. The fate of harvest of eggplants depends on age of seedling: 80-90-day seedling yields fine harvest, and here 70-60-day – it is already worse. Interesting fact: the Chinese vegetable growers plant 120-130-day seedling on the constant place and receive abundant harvest.
All grades of eggplants sow in one day, irrespective of maturing terms. Sinenkiye endure change painfully therefore it is the best of all to grow up them in peat glasses or separate pots. For cultivation of plants it is recommended to use specialized soil mixes with full range of batteries. It is possible to fill half-glass with the garden earth, and from above to add store soil.
Seeds of eggplants in the warm environment (+23-25˚C) sprout in one or one and a half weeks. To accelerate emergence of sprouts, it is possible to couch seeds before landing. To submerge them in warm water (+40-50˚C) for 10-12 hours, then to merge it, to wrap seeds in wet towel wipes and to hold at temperature +30-37˚C week, sprouts will not arise yet. One more important point of cultivation of seedling – eggplants well grow at short daylight hours, 14 hours are not longer, such days happen in February beginning of March.
From that, you are going to land peppers to the open ground or to the greenhouse, and the sowing time of seeds on seedling will depend. To the greenhouse, as a rule, plant seedling in the first of May. Plants have to be strong, 20-25 cm high, at the age of 60-70 days. It is simple to count that it is desirable to sow seeds on seedling from the middle of February to the middle of March. To the open ground, under ukryvny material, plants at the end of May land, respectively, terms of landing of seeds to seedling are displaced for 15-20 days.
Preparation of seeds is begun in five days prior to crops. Ret seeds for day in growth factor or in solution of microfertilizers.
