Many face that expensive energy saving lamps begin to blink after switching off. Especially unpleasantly it for those who try to fall asleep - flashes awake and irritate. And how to get rid of this blinking at once it is not clear. What can be made in this situation?
In general, blinking in the switched-off state is feature of energy saving lamps, it occurs because on entrance in lamp the condenser is installed. The switch small amount of current can pass (leakage current) which will gradually collect in the lamp condenser. Through some time of energy is enough for small discharge. But as current does not arrive any more, the lamp immediately dies away.
Such behavior of lamp reduces the term of its service and increases chance of electric shock. There are several reasons why it can occur. Respectively, there are several ways of solution.
Option 1. Leakage currents appear from behind old age of wiring, the accumulated dirt and dust. Old wiring is usually already badly isolated, and it is desirable to check or replace it. It is for this purpose better to ask for the help the electrician. Option 2. You use the switch with illumination through which there passes the weak current sufficient for recharge of the condenser too. Here the following actions are possible: a) to remove illumination from the switch; b) to install the switch on phase, but not on 0. That is to trade phase places that it broke in the switch; c) at the switch with illumination parallel to lamp to install other condenser or resistance. Option 3. If in the house tension ""jumps"", then it is possible in electrical circuit, that is chandelier, to put the normal glow lamp if, of course, it does not spoil exterior. Besides, it is possible to try just to change energy saving lamp as parameters at them are not stable. Option 4. Optimal it is possible to call such solution: to buy energy saving lamps with smooth start-up. At them 1-2 seconds on set of power technology are given. However, this option possesses also shortcoming: such lamps give full brightness only in half-minute and more. However, the more powerful the lamp, the it occurs quicker. It is possible to carry the fact that life cycle of this rather difficult device is extended to pluses. At the same time at cost they do not differ from ""normal"" energy saving lamps. In shop it is rather simple to find them if there is test stand: they light up gradually. Usual glow lamps so do not behave because they need the much bigger power of current to enter operating condition.
