Hardly at the dacha wait for harvest of some other berries as strawberry. Most often, at good leaving, the harvest of tasty, large and fragrant fruits pleases. But what to do if all rules of agrotechnology are followed, and berries do not grow, only abundant thickets of mustache are formed?
First of all, it is necessary to deal with planting stock. It is necessary to buy strawberry seedling only in the checked nurseries and to pay attention to what bush – men's or women's. For normal fructification both views are chosen, it is worth knowing that men's individuals the strongest, well oblistvenny. Female undersized, look as weak, underdeveloped plants. The last years nurseries often are not engaged in sorting of strawberry mustache on men's and female individuals therefore the gardener, on ignorance, can choose only male mustache for landing. And they, growing, give huge summer gain of mustache, without tying peduncles and, respectively, without forming some berries. Plus purchases of saplings in nurseries – the high-quality, checked planting stock is got.
The wrong choice of term of landing of strawberry - one of the main reasons of lack of blossoming of plants and abundant formation of mustache. Optimum time for work in kitchen garden with these cultures for midland of the country the beginning middle of August is considered. For the period to the first cold days the bushes well take roots, manage to stuff up berry kidneys and next year it is quite possible to collect, let small, but sufficient harvest of berries. Bushes should be watered it is abundant, combining with fertilizing. But also the strong reforage nitrogen fertilizers can deprive of harvest as in this case plants begin "to fatten" - leaves large and beautiful, but peduncles bushes are not thrown out. It should be noted that for receiving good harvest all growing mustache need to be deleted. For reproduction leave only mustache, the first from bush, but in this case the amount of berries decreases.
