Instruction
1. As raw materials for receiving fiber glass serve sand, clay, soda, limestone and components additives. Also in production of fiber glass use a cullet as scrap metal when receiving metal.
2. Technological components are loaded into melting furnaces where heat up to temperature of 1200 degrees. The received mass of liquid glass goes for molding. Special dies (platinum plates - a sieve with microopenings) continuously extend thin fibers which, being cooled, stiffen. Ready fibers take up in reels, at the same time the speed of winding it is possible to regulate thread thickness that is if to take up more slowly, then thread will be thicker. Glass thread turns out from 6 microns thick, its diameter 20 times smaller, than diameter of a hair of the person.
3. Then do fiber glass of different texture of such threads. Fiber can be executed in the form of twisted threads, smooth, and fluffed up, more friable. Threads are very strong, have soft structure and are beautiful by sight, they can be subjected to coloring. Therefore such material began to be used for production of cullets and a steklopolotn. Also fiber glass fabric is applied in construction, electrical equipment, the tool industry, shipbuilding and automotive industry.
