1. Calculate how many it will be required parts of water for essence dilution to make 9 percent of 70 percent vinegar. For this purpose it is necessary to divide a reference percentage value of acetic essence into the desirable and to round the received number which will represent a necessary amount of water.
2. Divide 70 into 9, having received the rounded number 8. It means that it is necessary to dilute one part of 70 percent vinegar with eight parts of water (1 part = 1 tablespoon) that 9 percent solution turned out. The same way it is possible to receive three-percent, six-percentage or eight-percentage vinegar, too often applied in cookery.
3. You can quickly make 9 percent vinegar of 70 percent by means of a usual thick glass tumbler which is available practically in each kitchen. This capacity contains in itself 17 parts of water. It is enough to add 2 more spoons of 70 percent vinegar to receive a glass of 9 percent.
4. It is necessary to part vinegar with cold bottle or boiled water. At first pour out a necessary amount of water in clean ware then add acetic acid according to the executed calculations and carefully mix. You store solution in a bottle with a stopper or a dense cover.
5. Vinegar is long since applied not only in the culinary, but also medical purposes, for example, before it often used for disinfecting of wounds, and now it becomes frequent a basis of compresses or means for rubdown.
