Features of cuisine of Spain

Spain is the unique country in which the kitchen differs on its regions. The small roughness and aspiration to put all ingredients in one pot is peculiar to Spanish cuisine, but it doesn't prevent to estimate sharpness, piquancy and beauty of dishes at all.

Throughout long time in Spain special traditions of cookery developed, but, despite this, other countries of the world had the huge impact. Therefore today it is difficult to tell precisely what dishes Spaniards thought up and what were delivered from other countries.

The kitchen of this country is considered to be Mediterranean that implies a set of dishes from fish and seafood, but actually Spaniards most often cook meat dishes. Each region of Spain boasts own special viands. They are united by addition of a huge amount of spices, garlic and, naturally, olive oil.

Special components of Spanish cuisine

Olive oil – the main ingredient for dishes in Spain. By means of this oil the Spaniards fill salads, cook sauces, fry and bake, but the most surprising that olive oil is used for desserts.

Spaniards usually add paprika and spicy herbs to rice and seafood, but only at the very end of preparation. Add only spicy paprika to winter soups.

Seafood - the main ingredient for Spanish cuisine. From mussels, oysters and shrimps cook different soups and sauces.

The pudding or sweet mindalevy cream pies is considered the most favourite dessert of Spaniards.

And in conclusion, any Spanish lunch doesn't do without wine. Spain, on an equal basis with France and Italy, also produces the best wines around the world. Spanish wines very bright, but more tart and strong, than wine of France, also differ in a strong flavoring bouquet, than wine of Italy.
