Each clear night of a star throw down a challenge to our inquisitiveness. But only the few accept it, including observation of heavenly bodies business tiresome and demanding the special equipment. Actually, existence of the powerful telescope is optional to search of stars, it is possible to use modern software and traditional methods of astronomy.
Instruction
1. If you have a smartphone on the basis of Google Android, it is possible to use a special application of Google Sky Map. Based on the data obtained from the GPS receiver, a digital compass and the sensor of an inclination, the application draws the star chart on phone screen. If you move in space or will raise phone, the program will redraw the picture, based on new position of the device in space at once.
2. Having opened the Google application of Sky Map, you will see the image of stars, constellations and a search box. In the program there are 6 layers of display: the line of the horizon, a grid of coordinates, stars, constellations, planets and objects from the catalog of the Monsieur. To call buttons of scale and the side control menu layers, touch the display.
3. Enter the name of any planet or a star into a search box. The program will issue the hint concerning in what direction you need to turn that the necessary object appeared at you before eyes. An analog of Sky Map is the Star Walk application suitable for the IOS system.
4. Download the astronomical program on the thematic websites on the Internet. You will be able to see stars on the screen of the monitor. Astronomical atlases contain information on hundreds of thousands of various stars and other objects of the Universe in similar programs. Besides, there are special applications allowing to make detailed calculations of arrangement of stars on any timepoint.
5. You can determine the name and arrangement of a star by the star globe which is used in seaworthy astronomy of the device and being model of the heavenly sphere, having only its horizontal coordinates.
6. Find the necessary star in the astronomical reference book and learn in what constellation it is. Having defined location of the constellation in the sky, look for a star by means of the telescope. For finding of stars you can also use the mobile star chart which allows to define the stars available to observation at a given time.
