1. Remember a standard form of a polynomial that know that you have to receive as a result. The importance has even a record order: the first there have to be members with bigger degree. Besides, it is accepted to write down at first the unknown designated by the letters standing at the beginning of the alphabet.
2. Write down an initial polynomial and start search of similar composed. These are the members of the equation given you having an identical alphabetic part or (and) digital. For descriptive reasons emphasize the found couples. Pay attention that the similarity does not mean identity, - the main thing that one member of couple comprised the second. So, members hu, xy2z and xyz will be similar, - they have the general part in the form of the work x and at. Same treats also sedate expressions.
3. Designate different similar members differently. For this purpose emphasize with unary, double and threefold lines better, use color and other forms of lines.
4. Having found everything similar members, start their combination. For this purpose in the found couples put similar members outside brackets. Do not forget that in a standard form the polynomial has no similar members.
5. Check whether there is no identical element left at you in record. In some cases you can have similar members again. Repeat operation with their combination.
6. Track performance of the second condition which is required for record of a polynomial in a standard form: each its participant has to be represented in the form of a monomial in a standard look: on the first place – a numerical multiplier, on the second – the variable or changes following in already designated order. At the same time the alphabetic sequence set by the alphabet has a priority. Decrease of degrees is considered in the second turn. So, a standard type of a monomial is record 7xy2 while y27x, x7y2, y2x7, 7y2x, xy27 do not meet the requirements.
