How to make ginseng tincture

The ginseng - "a life root" - is used in medicine as tonic, for increase in immunity and also at treatment of atherosclerosis, violation of functions of a cardiovascular system.

It is required to you

  • For an alcoholature:
  • - 15 g of dry or 50 g of a crude root of a ginseng;
  • - 0.5 l of vodka.
  • For tincture on honey:
  • - 30 g of a dry root;
  • - 1 kg of honey.

Instruction

1. Crush 15 g of a dry root of a ginseng in the coffee grinder, fill in with vodka and insist at the room temperature in the place protected from light within ten-fourteen days. Filter infusion by means of the gauze put several times. You store in glasswares with densely closed cover in the dark place or in the fridge.

2. Crush 50 grams of a crude root of a ginseng in the blender. Consider that the root which reached six-seven-year age has health giving qualities. The fresh root is used for preparation of tincture within no more than five-seven days from the date of collecting.

3. Fill in the crushed ginseng with 0.5 liters of vodka (or spirit liquid with a strength not less than thirty degrees), insist in the dark place at the room temperature within two weeks. You store in ware from dark glass in the cool place with densely closed cover.

4. Use the crushed ginseng again: when the first infusion is used, add in ware a half of a dose of alcohol, that is 250 grams of vodka or spirit liquid, not less than 40 wasps. Insist in the same way within two weeks.

5. Prepare in the blender. Warm kilogram of honey on a water bath to 40 wasps. For this purpose stock up with the thermometer to control temperature, pour honey in a small saucepan, in a big pan pour water and put on fire. Install a small pan over big and close a cover.

6. Bring honey to the necessary temperature, remove from a water bath, pour ginseng powder, carefully stir. Pour mix of powder and honey in glasswares and insist in the place protected from light within two weeks at the room temperature. You store ginseng honey also at the room temperature, having densely closed a cover.
