How to make gozinaki

Gozinaki – traditional Georgian sweet which is cooked from honey, sugar, various nuts or sunflower seeds. In this country they are considered as an invariable dish of a New Year's table, and in Russia – are served to tea or coffee at any time. That there are always fresh and tasty gozinaki, it is better not to buy them in shop, and to prepare independently.

Gozinaki from sunflower sunflower seeds

From sunflower seeds it is necessary for preparation of classical gozinaki: - 500 g of the cleaned sunflower sunflower seeds;

- 100 g of granulated sugar; - 150 g of natural honey.

Pour honey in a ceramic cup and add to it granulated sugar. Put on a water bath and prepare, constantly stirring slowly until sugar completely is dissolved, and honey won't become absolutely liquid. Mix this sweet weight with the cleaned sunflower seeds. Spread out on a board or on a baking sheet parchment paper and lay out on it sunflower seeds with honey. Gozinaki from walnuts

Ingredients: - 500 g of the peeled walnuts; - 500 g of honey; - 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Peel nuts from a film if they young people, then cut on large pieces, but don't pound. Gozinaki from peanut and poppy

Not less tasty gozinaki from sesame sunflower seeds, a filbert or pistachio nuts turn out. It is possible to prepare them as well from peanut. For this purpose it is required: - 500 g of the peeled peanut; - 2 tablespoons of poppy; - 500 g of honey; - 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Fry peanut in a dry frying pan, watching that it didn't burn at all. Then add to it poppy and fry, constantly stirring slowly, a minute more. Pour everything into a separate cup, and in a frying pan pour honey and lemon juice. Constantly stirring slowly, bring honey to the boil, add to it fried peanut with poppy and carefully mix. When weight a little cools down, wet hands in cold water and roll from it small balls. Lay out them on parchment paper and when they harden, shift in a candy dish.
