How to make ""open"" stuffed peppers

Many love stuffed peppers, however there is always a wish to try something brand new - for example, not to fill pepper forcemeat, and just to cut on halves and to put there chicken fillet. It will turn out very beautifully and tasty.

It is required to you

  • - Large paprikas – 4-5 pieces.
  • - Chicken breast or fillet — 1 piece.
  • - A small tomato – 2-3 pieces.
  • - Green onions — several feathers.
  • - Fennel or parsley - to taste.
  • - Yogurt without flavor additives - 2 tablespoons.
  • - A hard cheese — 100-150 гр.
  • - Spices (Provence herbs are very good).
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

1. Cut pepper on halves, scrape seeds. Tails can be not cut off - so it will even be more interesting, besides more forcemeat will be located.

2. Cut chicken meat small pieces - it is no more than 1х1 cm or less - it depends on your taste.

3. We peel tomatoes from a skin: we lower them in the boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then we scald cold water and we clean. We cut tomatoes on small cubes, about 0.5х0.5 cm.

4. We do forcemeat: we chop greens, we add tomatoes, the cut chicken and we fill in all with yogurt, we add spices and salt with pepper, everything is carefully mixed.

5. We spread pepper on a baking tray, we fill with forcemeat and we put in an oven for 30 minutes (at 180-200 degrees).

6. We grate cheese and as soon as pepper prepare, we strew with it a dish from above and we put in an oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese melts.
