How to make salad for the winter with rice and vegetables

The tasty vegetable salad with rice is an excellent addition to garnishes in winter time. Also such preparation can be used as an independent dish for fast having a snack.

It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of carrots,
  • - 1 kg of onions,
  • - 1 kg of paprika,
  • - 1 kg tomato,
  • - 1 glass (200 ml) of rice,
  • - 350 g of vegetable oil,
  • - 0.5 glasses (200 ml) of vinegar,
  • - 1.5 tablespoons of salt,
  • - 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Instruction

1. Carefully wash out vegetables and clean.

2. Wash out rice to transparency of water, boil within ten minutes. Salt water for rice a little, boil in proportions 1 to 3.

3. Cast away boiled rice on a colander and wash out that was friable.

4. Grate the peeled carrots.

5. Put grated carrots in a pan or a stewpan, add 350 g of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of sugar and one and a half tablespoons of salt, pour in a half of a glass of vinegar, you extinguish on strong fire within ten minutes.

6. While carrots are stewed, cut onions in average cubes. Add onions to carrots, you extinguish five minutes.

7. Cut paprika in small cubes and mix it with vegetables, you extinguish five minutes.

8. Cut tomatoes small pieces. Add tomatoes to vegetables, mix and you extinguish five minutes. Then add boiled rice to vegetables. You stew vegetables with rice half an hour, periodically stir slowly.

9. Prepare jars under salad (sterilize). Spread out salad on jars, roll up covers, let's cool down and remove on storage to the storeroom.
