Shawarma came to us from the Middle East and strongly won our hearts. Even children whom sometimes not to force to eat vegetables, with pleasure eat shawarma. A variety of a compounding and ingredients will allow to show imagination and to create something special. It is possible to vary vegetables, spices and types of meat - it is recommended to use chicken, mutton or beef.
It is required to you
- 400 гр. chicken fillet
- packing of pita (5 pieces)
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 average bulbs Red onions will be especially good.
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 garlic gloves
- 2 tablespoons of juice of a lemon
- 5 glasses of salty mineral water
- 1 pod of cardamom
- greens
- for sauce:
- 3 tablespoons of a takhina
- 3 tablespoons of juice of a lemon
- 3 tablespoons not of sweet yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of water
- black sprinkling pepper
Instruction
1. Chicken fillet is cut on pieces by strips.
2. We cook marinade. We will mix lemon juice, mineral soda, small cut garlic, pepper, cardamom and salt.
3. We will place fillet in marinade and we will put to be pickled in the fridge for 1 hour.
4. The pickled fillet is fried in oil until ready, but we don't dry.
5. We will make sauce. We will mix takhin, yogurt and slightly we will pepper the lemon juice diluted with water.
6. We cut tomatoes on thin segments.
7. We clean onions and we cut rings. We sprinkle lemon juice.
8. We cut cucumbers strips.
9. We take pita we cut in half, doing "pocket".
10. We grease ""pocket"" with sauce, we put vegetables, greens, chicken fillet.
11. We place ready "pockets" on a baking tray and we put in the warmed oven for 3 minutes.
12. Shawarma is ready.
